Where to sleep in Paris?

After registering for Paris Marathon and choosing your mode of transport, it is now time to choose your accommodation. This choice will be crucial because you will need to sleep in the best conditions to be fit on the day of the marathon. We have thought of everything!

Hotels

Concerning your place of residence during the marathon, you have two choices. Either you choose a place close to the start of the race or you choose a place close to the finish. A small advantage for this last solution because the changing rooms are located at the finish of the race.

La Clef Champs-Elysées’ Hotel

★★★★★

This is a magnificent hotel for an unforgettable trip in the French capital. Modernity and luxury, both are combined in this hotel. Several noble materials decorate the rooms such as Hungarian parquet flooring or marble. You can even lower your lactic fluid level in the large gym.

    • 44-46 rue de Bassano, 75008 Paris (Subway access: George V stop, line 1)

Hôtel des Champs-Elysées

★★★★

The refined style of the Hôtel des Champs-Elysées is an added value. Join this haven of peace, ideal to rest and regain strength after a marathon. In addition, you can access the room with a whirlpool bath, perfect for massage and relaxation.

    • 2 rue d’Artois, 75008 Paris (Subway access: Saint Philippe du Roule stop)

Kleber’ Hotel

★★★

This is a typical hotel with the real French touch. Historical furniture and woodwork will take you back to the past. Would you opt for a room with a hydro-massaging shower? Nothing better to recharge your batteries!

    • 7 rue de Belloy, 75016 Paris (Subway access: Boissière stop)

Apartments in short rental

If you prefer a quiet place, you can also opt for a short rental. An apartment can be a good compromise if you don’t like the atmosphere of hotels too much. With this alternative, you will be more autonomous. You can rest and be more “free” than in a simple hotel.

To do so, it is preferable to opt for hotel apartments, located in the 8th arrondissement or on the following metro lines:

  • Line 1
  • Line 2
  • Line 9
  • Line 13

In this way, you will be able to reach the start and finish of the Paris Marathon more easily.

Youth hostels

Hostels offers accommodation for a lower price. It is a good way to create friendly relationships in a warm atmosphere. Collective or individual room? Each hostel has its own particularity.

In Paris, there are several of them near the Champs Elysée:

  • BVJ Champs-Elysées Monceau
  • Adveniat Paris
  • BVJ Louvre – Auberge de Jeunesse
  • BJV Opéra Montmartre
